What is Dysport?
Dysport is an FDA-approved injectable treatment that reduces the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines by temporarily relaxing the muscles that cause them, resulting in a smoother, more relaxed appearance.
Like BOTOX, Dysport is made from botulinum toxin type A but has a slightly different formulation. This difference gives Dysport some unique characteristics: it tends to work faster, spread more naturally, and provide a softer look that many patients prefer. Dysport has been used in Europe for over 20 years and was approved by the FDA in 2009.
